As the Emergency Coordinator, your duties will include:
Developing, implementing and maintaining the site emergency plan and procedures.
Interfacing, as requested by the client, with Federal, State and Local officials, as well as off-site emergency response organizations and emergency facilities, to assure all postulated emergencies identified in the site emergency plan can be addressed as needed.
Assuring emergency response materials and equipment are identified, procured and maintained; Developing and implementing an emergency response exercise / drill schedule and executing those to assure competencies in on-site and off-site responses.
Serving as the initial senior member of the incident command system in the event of an emergency and executing emergency plan requirements in that role.
Serving as a member of the site occupational safety and health team.
Leading post exercise / drill or emergency event critiques to identify weaknesses, if any, that warrant revision to the emergency plan, procedures and/or training.

NIMS 100, 200, 700 and 800 training.
Certified Safety Professional, or Certified Industrial Hygienist Two years supervisory experience including the development, implementation and oversight of a Emergency Response Program and documented participation as a key member in an Emergency Response Organization at a remediation/construction project site; Five years experience in management and implementation of emergency plans addressing the requirements in 29 CFR and / or 10 CFR 70, applicable guidance documents, or similar requirements for DOD, DOE or similar federal facilities; Three years experience as a qualified Incident Commander or senior member of an incident command system as specified in 29 CFR 1910.

Bachelor of Science or higher in Safety Sciences, or similar discipline.
Working knowledge of applicable federal, state and local occupational safety and health regulations as they pertain to emergency response activities.
EMT qualifications are a plus.
Essential Functions:
Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting.
Lifting requirements limited to 20 lbs.
in the form of supplies, drawings, etc.
Longest distance carried of 50 feet.
Hand manipulation is required for simple grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation.
Right and/or left hands utilized.
Occasional need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, for supplies, as well as below the shoulder for same.
No foot controls necessary.
Must be alert to equipment in the field, there will be occasional travel, will work near construction job site equipment when in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
Ability to wear any required PPE as required.
